A total of around sixty six packages of school supplies were distributed to school going children from Junior Kindergarten to Grade Eight on August 27, 2019 at Cedarwood Dr. Ottawa. The packages contained full school supplies necessary for the school academic year based on the school board curriculum.
The team comprising of Pastor, Elder and Deacon from OKCC handed over the packages to students/parents, extending best wishes to all the children present. The team also thanked parents/guardians as well as the representatives from Canadian Bhutanese Association (CABTAS), Ottawa.
Ottawa Korean Christian Church has been involved in supporting and sharing its love through gifts and best wishes to the Bhutanese children for the last six years, twice a year.
I, on behalf of CABTAS, Ottawa, would like to thank OKCC for its continued support, encouragement and love towards the Bhutanese Nepali Children and the Community.
Thank you OKCC
Brian Khadka
President, CABTAS, Ottawa
