The first parents-teachers meeting organized by CABTAS was successfully conducted on July 11, 2026.

AGENDA

3.     Need of Teaching Nepali language to children, and the conduction of classes based on the school curriculum prepared by the team of teachers (HNLS), by Santa Man Rai (Teacher & CABTAS Advisor)

4.     Difficulties faced by teachers on day-to-day classroom teaching & learning, by Binita Bhattarai (Parent & Teacher)

The school report and registration information for the school session 2026-2027 presented by the coordinator is as follows:

Éducation permanente’s International and Indigenous Languages Program (IILP) offers free or low-cost language classes to students from Junior Kindergarten (JK) through Grade 12. This program is managed by CECCE, the Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est, the largest French-language Catholic school board in Ontario and the largest Canadian network of French-language schools outside of Quebec. The International and Indigenous Languages Program (IILP) offers weekend courses focusing on oral communication, reading and writing. Classes are led by experienced instructors who create a vibrant learning community for students through engaging activities. Students will gain literacy skills, communication skills, and cultural awareness. International language courses enhance students’ overall education, academic excellence, and ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds.

This program is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Education, making elementary language programs free.

Additional information

·       Commencement of IILP elementary classes for the school session 2026-2027: September 12, 2026.

·       Registrations are open for returning students and the new students.

·       Parents/students shall receive emails from the school board (pli-ilp@ecolecatholique.ca) for returning students to register their children with some necessary updates in their address and contact information.

  • All fees are mandatory beginning 2026-2027 and must be paid in full before students may access their language classes.

·       The new students are required to register their names by filling up the form from the board website. The registration forms are open.

·       Students must turn 4 years old by December 31 to be eligible for IILP elementary classes

·       Annual fee: $10 (consumables and resources fee) to Ontario residents

·       Annual fee: $175 (tuition + consumables and resources fee) to out of province residents.
