The Board Members and Area Representatives of Canadian Bhutanese Associations (CABTAS), Ottawa, knocked at the doors of every CABTAS family member to hand over a package containing face masks, hand sanitizers, flyers on COVID-19, letters wishing happy holidays, and requesting them to keep safe and healthy.

The packages were distributed in the last week of December 2020. The distribution team also performed wellness check to the vulnerable families with children and seniors. The family members were asked about the current difficulties and concern they were going through due to COVID-19. The team willingly offered to provide necessary support at any time when needed. The families were briefed on the importance of wearing face masks while going out and informed about the nearest locations of COVID-19 testing centres.

CABTAS, Ottawa, would like to thank Ottawa Public Health for donating some masks to the Bhutanese Nepali Community during their Campaign of Supporting Communities in Ottawa in this pandemic period.
